Meghan Mahealani Morris is the founder of Amba Movement. A yoga and movement teacher since 2001, Meghan has always found movement to be a direct pathway to coming home to herself. After over a decade of teaching and practicing yoga in traditional styles which stem from a male lineage, Meghan discovered a more feminine path of awakening, through movement.
Originally from Hawaii, Meghan feels a strong connection with the spirit of the islands and the healing energy of sacred lands and waters. It is through reconnecting with wild lands – both outside in natural settings and inside her own body and breath – that Meghan began to heal and reclaim her wholeness. Meghan went through a decade-long healing journey, through which she learned to nurture and listen to her body and heart.
Meghan created Amba out of her desire to live in a world with more empowered, earth-connected women who cherish themselves, love their bodies, and deeply enjoy their lives. Based in Topanga Canyon, Meghan coaches women 1:1 as well as leading moon gatherings, embodiment circles, retreats, and Amba Movement Teacher Trainings.
