Hannah Muse – Teacher of Yoga, Mindfulness & Mysticism // Priestess // Love Activist
Hannah is known for her profound devotion to WAKING UP to the sacred in every breath, her nurturing way of weaving ancient wisdom + transformational ritual, her epic storytelling + sweet Bhakta voice that stirs deep in your soul, and the infectious bliss that she radiates wherever she roams.
Hannah integrates her deep studies with Master Teachers in Ayurveda, Meditation, Bhakti and Tantra yoga, and other mystical arts to lead visionary classes and retreats internationally and in her home base of Santa Cruz, California, where she has been voted Best yoga teacher several years in a row. Hannah is creator of the beloved Awake Heart Teacher Training and Mount Madonna’s Prenatal + Postnatal YTT, and is often invited to be a guest faculty in trainings and conferences to share her expertise in Mindfulness Theory, Subtle Body, Yoga Philosophy, Prenatal & Ayurveda. She’s been a featured presenter at countless festivals and conferences, including Electric Forest, Symbiosis, Spirit Weavers, Bhakti Fest, and Shakti Fest.
With a background in environmental advocacy and social justice, Hannah’s commitment to serving the whole of humanity is integral to her teaching. She is the Founder of the yoga program at Siena House, serving homeless women and their babies during pregnancy and beyond, and serves on the board of the Yoga for All Movement, bringing mindfulness to the homeless, incarcerated and underserved.
Hannah is devoted to sharing the sacred gifts of yoga that uplifted her depression, healed her body, saved her life and awaken her heart each day. When she’s not traveling the world teaching, you can find her giggling with her 9-year old daughter/zen master Ruby Bea, collaborating in service of social + environmental justice, exploring Mama Earth’s majesty, dancing wildly, or meditating quietly.
