Zoe Blaq is an interdisciplinary artist, urban gardener and mental health advocate who continues to make waves in the art and food justice communities. She is bilingual, born in America and raised in Europe. Blaq is passionate about using art and science to empower marginalized communities.
Zoe seeks to engage her audiences in meaningful conversations about current issues through growing food, healing arts and wellness. Her work provides a platform for discussions about the environment, cultural similarities/differences and intersectionality. She is a published writer and the 2024 artist in residence at Self Help Graphics and Art in Boyle Heights, CA.
She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, a Bachelor of arts in Cinema, Television & Arts from Cal. State University Northridge and she is a LA County Master Gardener.
